An à la Carte Learning Day for 1st–6th Grade Learners
Welcome to our Wednesday Flex Classes — a heart-centered, community-rich learning experience designed to honor each child’s unique path. At Indie Sol, we believe education should reflect the whole child — nurturing not just academic growth, but creativity, connection, and joy.
Our Flex Day offers an engaging, à la carte-style schedule where students can explore a variety of subjects and passions within a mixed-age environment that fosters mentorship and collaboration. Rotating project blocks may include:
Math Games & Logic
Music Theory & Instrument Exploration
Cultural Dance
Reading & Literacy Games
Mixed Media Art
Fiber Arts & Hand Sewing
This flow allows students to dive into learning in a way that feels authentic and joyful — without the pressure of a rigid curriculum.

🎸 Optional Add-On: Indie Rock Band (2:00–2:45 PM)
This collaborative music enrichment experience introduces students to:
Voice & Vocal Harmony • Keyboard
Percussion • Strings
Led by passionate music educators, Indie Rock Band encourages expression, rhythm, and ensemble teamwork — perfect for beginners and budding performers alike. Students get the opportunity to perform at the end of each 12 week session!
Optional Add-On: Hip Hop Dance (2:00–2:45 PM)
This collaborative music enrichment experience introduces students to:
Rhythm • Creative Movement
Choreography
Led by skillfully trained dance instructors, this class encourages expression, rhythm, and choreography — perfect for beginners and budding performers alike. Students get the opportunity to perform at the end of each 12 week session

Dive into a world of collaborative learning where math, literacy, logic, and social skills come alive through play-based experiences.
Each week, children will explore a variety of educational games designed to make learning fun and meaningful:
Pokémon Math – Sharpen addition, subtraction, and strategic thinking while catching 'em all with numbers and stats!
Chess Club – Build patience, foresight, and critical thinking through one of the oldest strategy games in the world.
Scrabble and Word Play – Expand vocabulary, spelling, and creative language use with classic word games and team challenges.
Currency & Commerce – Practice real-world money skills with hands-on currency games, mini-markets, and budgeting tasks.
Card Games – Learn number sense, probability, and sportsmanship through rotating card games from Uno to strategy-based deck building.
This class emphasizes teamwork, turn-taking, confidence building, and joyful learning, all in a low-pressure, high-fun environment. Game Schooling is perfect for learners who thrive through movement, imagination, and connection.
* Each class will consist of 45 minutes. Ages 6-12
* Class availability will be on a first come, first serve basis.
* If you have more than one child attending, please fill out a different form for each child
